All payments of actual estate have to be in nationwide foreign money, which is HRK. However, any fee in foreign currencies will be converted into kuna. There is a difference between EU residents and non EU residents. EU citizens, natural and legal individuals, can buy real property in Croatia under the identical situations as Croatian citizens. Non Eu residents, natural and legal individuals, can purchase actual property based on reciprocity precept and they need to search the approval from Ministry of justice of Republic of Croatia.
